Fairest Overall

It's summer! And though almost everyone's celebrating the hot weather in the beach, it's quite difficult to go around the city in a comfortable outfit. I was not sure if the dungarees trend I saw would actually look good on me. To be fair, the last time I wore such an outfit was when I was about 5! I am worried that I'll look like an over-sized toddler. Turns out, it's not actually too bad.

I think they are stylish and comfortable. The best thing is, it is very effortless to pair with. Most of the time, I'm running late and it's just the perfect one to go with. Just match it with a crop top and you could strut the streets in style. I can't help myself when I saw these ones in VS Fashions (https://www.vsfashionsstore.com). It is a premium platform for online shopping in the UAE. There are lots of options at very affordable prices.

I have always been so skeptical on ordering something online as I might receive a completely different looking item but the ones from them are exactly as pictured. Also, my item arrived the day after I ordered!

Laced Dreams

Ah, the laced-up top. It's crazy how this trend had began from sky-high heels and ballet flats. Imagine, it has now made it's way into tops and dresses! The lace up detail actually makes the plain outfit pop-up, which makes me love it even more.

You can pair it up with a vampy, red lipstick or a nude one to keep it toned down. The possibilities are almost endless! It's trendy and individual at the same time.

Another 70s trend that I adore is the button-front A-line skirt. The shopping options are just plentiful! I spotted one in almost every shop, be it in denim or suede.

After so much craving for both, I decided to put it into the most obvious of outfits. To keep it classic, I added the perfect pair of pumps: Loubotins. It's a beauty that is simple and graceful. No one could get wrong with this black stiletto!

A Modern Belle

If you're like me, you've probably heard or even loved the classic, Beauty and the Beast. I'd say Belle is one of the princesses I admired because of her personality, style and we both share the love of books!

The film is all over the media right now. And while I'm far from looking like the princess, I decided to have my own take on a modern Princess Belle outfit.

Belle's yellow gown was one of the highlights of the film and everyone was waiting for it. Emma looked ethereal and magical in that dress, surely one I can't recreate. However, modern princesses don't always wear gowns, hence, the choice of shirt and jeans.
